About the Role:
Amber Labs is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA Test Analyst to join a fast-paced, high-profile digital project. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a transformative web-based application. Our current team has successfully delivered a Proof of Concept. We’re now moving into the next critical phase: developing a robust prototype for real-world testing. This is a high-visibility initiative with tight timelines and significant impact.
This role will also involve supporting the deployment and validation of AI-driven features, ensuring that machine learning models and intelligent systems meet quality, performance, and ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* End-to-end testing of a web-based application, with a strong emphasis on mobile-first usability.
* Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and regression suites.
* Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product owners to ensure quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.
* Identify, document, and track bugs and issues through to resolution.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tooling.
* Validate AI/ML components for accuracy, fairness, and performance, including edge-case testing and model drift detection.
* Work with data scientists and engineers to define test strategies for AI model integration and deployment.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in end-to-end web application testing, ideally in an Agile environment.
* Strong understanding of mobile-first design principles and responsive testing across devices and browsers.
* Experience with test automation tools is a plus (e.g., Cypress, Selenium).
* Hands-on experience testing AI/ML-powered applications or services, including model validation and data quality assurance.
* Familiarity with AI deployment pipelines, model monitoring, and ethical testing frameworks is highly desirable.
* Ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality results to tight deadlines.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Experience working with government would be beneficial.

This role at Amber Labs is a 12 Month salary based FTC position, and all employees are required to be eligible for BPSS. Please be advised that, at this time, we are unable to consider candidates who require sponsorship or hold a visa of any type.
