To ensure the highest standards of service and customer care are maintained in all aspects of the Conference and Banqueting Department.
Key responsibilities:
1. To ensure all guests receive the highest level of service at all times, with a willing and courteous attitude, always promoting the hotel and its image.
2. To ensure all meeting rooms and functions are set up as per the function list and before the specified times, maintaining the highest standards.
3. To serve all coffee and tea breaks promptly at the agreed times.
4. To present and serve food and beverages to the highest standards.
5. To have a good knowledge of daily menus and available beverages.
6. To be knowledgeable about all hotel facilities and inform and sell these to guests when asked.
Hospitality & Service
* To provide guest service standards of the highest quality, aiming to exceed expectations at all times.
* To act as an exceptional ambassador for the Elite Group.
Business Development
* To be aware of hotel facilities and actively promote and upsell these to guests.
* To participate in all available training opportunities to maximize upselling and improve departmental success.
Communication, Planning & Organisation
* To report any faulty equipment or general faults to the Conference and Banqueting Manager, Deputy, or Supervisor.
* To assist with prioritizing and proactively reducing breakages of glassware, equipment, and disposable goods.
