Location: Slough
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: L5-L9
A committed and experienced SENCO is required for a leading secondary school in Slough. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leadership role in a school that is dedicated to providing excellent support to students with special educational needs and disabilities.

Your Role as SENCO:
• Lead the SEN department and manage a team of teaching assistants and support staff.
• Oversee the development and implementation of IEPs and support strategies for students with SEN.
• Work closely with the leadership team to ensure that SEN provision is embedded across the curriculum.
• Monitor and evaluate the progress of students with SEN, providing regular reports to parents and stakeholders.
• Ensure the school complies with all legal and regulatory requirements related to SEN.

Who We’re Looking For:
• A qualified teacher with QTS and a postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs (e.g., NASENCO).
• Significant experience working in an SEN role, with a proven track record of improving outcomes for students with SEN.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a team.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff.
• Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
