Cyber Security Manager
Job Description
Our Fintech client are looking to onboard a Cyber Security Manager for an initial 6 month contract with the option to extend or transition permanently with them. The client offer a portfolio of brands that combine fintech, proptech, and customer service across 235 territories and 10 offices worldwide. This role will be fully remote and will be INSIDE IR35.
Responsibilities
1. Lead a team of cybersecurity professionals in implementing and maintaining security measures.
2. Develop and enforce IT security policies and procedures.
3. Conduct risk assessments and audits.
4. Implement security solutions.
5. Coordinate incident response and manage data breach situations.
6. Ensure compliance with all regulatory cybersecurity requirements.
Essential Skills
7. Experience building security teams.
8. Proven work experience as a Cybersecurity Manager or similar role
9. Strong knowledge of various cybersecurity frameworks and standards.
10. Experience with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, and data encryption.
11. Strong understanding of risk management and incident response procedures.
12. Experience managing and leading a team.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
13. Advanced security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC.
14. Hands-on experience with cloud security and DevSecOps practices.
