Downing is expanding again and seeks an experienced Facilities Manager to assist us to manage existing and pipeline portfolios across the UK.
Reporting to the Head of Property Management, the successful applicant will be based at our Liverpool Head Office, managing a portfolio of properties across a number of UK sites, including PBSA and Commercial and Residential properties. You will manage operational budgets of up to £1.5million per property with hands on support from our Operations team and an FM Assistant.
We currently manage £0.75 bn+ of PBSA residential and commercial schemes, with a development pipeline of £1.5bn for the next 5 years, including £0.5bn at Square Gardens, Manchester opening this year, which compromises 1,800 BTR, co-living beds plus commercial space. A game changer for Manchester.

Key Requirements:
* Experienced in a total Facilities Management role
* Qualified to MIWFM (or similar professional standard) is preferred but not essential
* Strong customer focus / service delivery
* Commitment to occasional domestic travel and overnight stays
Key Responsibilities:
* Health & Safety compliance
* Reactive & planned maintenance
* Contract management of 3rd party, hard & soft service providers
* Close and effective communication with site-based operational colleagues
* Budget setting, management, forecasting and reports
