We are seeking an experienced vet with a passion for both people and pets, to join our new 24/7 Hospital in Warrington due to open summer 2026. A Lead Veterinary Surgeon will guide our team of vets, ensuring that high standards of clinical care are met through coaching and mentoring. You will be jointly responsible for embedding the Animal Trust Values, creating a caring and nurturing working environment. Warrington is the next exciting addition to our growing group, and we’re proud to be opening a brand-new 24/7 veterinary hospital designed to deliver exceptional care across first opinion, referral, and out-of-hours services. This state-of-the-art facility has been thoughtfully designed with both patients and teams in mind. The hospital will feature seven consultation rooms, a dedicated end-of-life room, three theatres, separate dog and cat wards, isolation facilities, a fully equipped dental suite, diagnostics suite, and a digital X-ray room. Built to the high standards we’re known for, the hospital will also include spacious, modern staff areas, ensuring a supportive, comfortable working environment for our teams as we continue to grow and invest in the future of veterinary care. Our free consultations and transparent pricing enable our vets and nurses to break down the barriers that stand in the way of pets receiving the treatment they need About You: Clinical Expertise: Possess a strong clinical skillset with a passion for coaching and mentoring. Communication Skills: Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, both with clients and the veterinary team. VetGDP Qualification: Hold or be eager to obtain a VetGDP qualification. Business Acumen: While preferred, it's not essential. We welcome individuals interested in assessing business KPIs and P&L. Management Experience: Have experience in performing 1-2-1 meetings and conducting performance management. Confident Leadership: Be confident in leading staff meetings and clinical governance meetings.
