As an IT Support Specialist, you will be a crucial member of our team, providing robust operational support and helping to develop and implement technology solutions across our business. Your focus will be on system support, ERP environments, and contributing to software development initiatives using a variety of technologies. Working within our European Operations, you will deliver fast and effective technical assistance on computer systems, answering queries, and guiding our internal customers to resolve their IT challenges.
What you'll be doing:
1. Contribute to the development of high-quality technological products and solutions.
2. Provide comprehensive application support across a diverse technology landscape.
3. Leverage your knowledge within an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) environment to ensure smooth operations.
4. Support our systems using Microsoft SQL and Oracle databases.
5. Apply your problem-solving skills to deliver effective software solutions.
6. Participate in improvement initiatives and global projects.
7. Deliver timely technical support, including troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of software issues.
8. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve recurring software issues and suggest improvements.
9. Work with IT security teams to ensure software adheres to security protocols.
10. Report to the IT Manager.
What you'll bring:
1. Experience in developing technology solutions for large business change programs, focusing on system and application support.
2. Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with ERP environments.
3. Experience with Microsoft SQL and Oracle databases.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to support software effectively.
5. Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is preferred.
6. Excellent technical understanding and diagnostic skills.
7. Exceptional communication skills to explain technical solutions to non-technical users.
8. Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction.
9. Ability to work independently and in a team.
