We are seeking a reliable and skilled Van Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with both warehouse staff and clients.
Duties
* Operate a van to deliver goods to various locations in a timely manner.
* Load and unload cargo, ensuring that items are secured properly for transport.
* Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
* Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork.
* Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
* Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
* Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organisation of goods.
* Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues when necessary.
