About the role:
Justteachers is seeking anEnglish Teacherto join anAlternative Provision (AP)in theNelson area on along-term basis. Thefull-timepost is due to startafter Easter, with shortlisting currently taking place.
This AP is dedicated to supportingKS3 and KS4 studentswho require amore tailored and engaging approach to education. The school focuses onre-engaging students in learning, improving literacy skills, and building confidencein astructured and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated English lessons suited to students’ individual needs
* Using creative teaching strategies to support students with SEMH and behavioural needs
* Creating a positive and structured learning environment to encourage student progress and engagement
Pre-requisites:
* QTS or a relevant teaching qualification in English
* Proven experience teaching students with SEMH or in an alternative provision setting
* Strong knowledge of behaviour management and student engagement strategies
* Two education or school-based references
