Daily Cover Support Teaching Assistant
Location: Bushey
Contract: Daily supply / flexible cover
Start Date: Immediate
Pay: £90–£105 per day (dependent on experience)
We are looking for reliable, enthusiastic Support Teaching Assistants to provide daily cover in friendly and inclusive primary schools in Bushey. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, adapts quickly, and is passionate about supporting children’s learning and wellbeing.
The Role
Providing classroom support across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
Working with pupils 1:1 or in small groups
Supporting the class teacher with learning activities and behaviour management
Assisting pupils with additional needs where appropriate
Helping to maintain a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will
Have experience working with primary-aged children (school-based experience preferred)
Be flexible, proactive, and confident in different classroom settings
Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
Be patient, nurturing, and able to build positive relationships with pupils
Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service, or be willing to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
