Night Porter Role
The role includes a variety of responsibilities such as checking in late arrivals and checking out early departures, handling reservation enquiries over the phone, passing messages to relevant departments, completing corporate event set‑ups, taking room service orders, preparing food and drinks, and delivering them to guests. Working at night, you will also be responsible for the safety of the hotel, completing security walks and ensuring the safety of the hotel and its guests, as well as providing support to the housekeeping team to maintain public area cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
* Check in and check out guests, including late arrivals and early departures.
* Handle reservation enquiries and pass messages to relevant departments.
* Complete corporate event set‑ups and room service orders.
* Prepare and deliver food and drinks to guests.
* Conduct security walks and ensure the safety of the hotel and its guests.
* Support housekeeping in maintaining public area cleanliness.
Ideal Candidate
* Able and willing to work nights – shifts run from 10 pm to 8 am, four nights per week (including weekends on a rota).
* Excellent personal presentation, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Responsible and trustworthy.
* Previous hotel experience is not essential but advantageous.
