User Researcher (Central Government experience essential)
We’re looking for an experienced User Researcher to join our team on a 6-month contract supporting a central government project. You’ll play a key role in shaping digital services that truly meet user needs.
Contract Details:
* Duration: various contract available 3 - 6 months
* Location: 2–3 days per week in Manchester, Leeds, or Sheffield (hybrid working)
* Inside IR35
What you’ll do:
* Plan and conduct user research across the full product lifecycle
* Work within GDS standards to deliver evidence-based insights
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including designers, product managers, and developers
* Present findings to influence key decisions and improve user experiences
What we’re looking for:
* Strong experience in user research for government or GDS-aligned projects
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Proven ability to translate research into actionable recommendations
* Familiarity with agile delivery environments
