Please note that this is a full-time role working 38.5 hours per week from 8pm - 8am, full flexibility is required. In your role as a Night Manager at HC-One you will value one thing above all: kindness. It carries across every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. Being a Night Manager will mean taking responsibility for a specific part of the home and delivering the very best level of care, and running the entire place when the Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager are absent. You will consider resident dignity and wellbeing in all actions, whether reporting mobility issues, coordinating samples for monitoring, or administering medicine.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility and it is important that you are able to recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and to undertake additional training in associated areas. You also have the ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
Responsibilities
* Take responsibility for a specific part of the home and deliver the highest level of care; operate the home in the Home Manager's and Deputy Home Manager's absence.
* Ensure resident dignity and wellbeing in daily interactions and decisions, including reporting concerns and supporting residents with mobility or medical needs as required.
* Maintain safeguarding practices and participate in safeguarding training.
* Communicate effectively with residents and co-workers, demonstrating kindness and consideration at all times.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Proven leadership skills in a care home for vulnerable adults.
* Positive energy, ability to build relationships, and willingness to take real accountability.
* Commitment to safeguarding and ability to recognise and report concerns; willingness to escalate when action is not taken.
