Sous Chef
Location: Manchester
We are looking for a Sous Chef to join our kitchen team.

Your Role as Sous Chef
When you are on shift, you are responsible for the kitchen. This includes:
* Preparing food and ensuring high quality at all times
* Making excellent sushi and kushiyaki sticks
* Keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and safe
* Following food safety and hygiene standards
* Helping to control food costs and reduce waste
* Supporting and guiding other chefs on shift
* Making sure every guest receives a great plate of food, every time
* You will work closely with the Head Chef and be an important part of the leadership team.
What You Bring
You already have:
* Experience working in a busy professional kitchen
* Good knife skills and sushi‑making experience
* Enough English to communicate clearly in the kitchen
* Strong attention to detail and high standards
* Respect for kitchen rules, safety, and cleanliness
You also bring:
* A desire to learn and grow as a chef
* Respect for traditions, with openness to new ideas
* Kindness, teamwork, and mutual respect
