Project Manager - Fixed Income Middle Office | Belfast (Hybrid) | £450-£525/day (Umbrella)
We are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a global financial services firm in Belfast on a 9-month contract.
This is a hands-on delivery role working on critical initiatives across the Fixed Income Middle Office, covering FX, Spread, Rates, and Treasury. You will lead and execute change focused on reconciliation, risk & control, regulatory delivery, and process improvement.
* Contract: 9 months
* Day Rate: £450 - £525/day (Umbrella)
* Location: Belfast (3 days/week on-site)
* Start: ASAP
Responsibilities
* Deliver multiple project workstreams in alignment with business goals
* Define and drive the target operating model across Middle Office operations
* Lead stakeholder engagement, governance, and project planning
* Ensure project risks, dependencies, and issues are proactively managed
* Collaborate with technology and business functions to deliver end-to-end solutions
* Manage testing cycles and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT)
* Track KPIs and benefits for change delivery
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Project Manager (not Programme Manager)
* Background in Fixed Income / Global Markets operations or transformation
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Experience with process transformation and operating model change
* Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint; JIRA experience a plus
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment
