Qualifications:
* Knowledge of metallurgy, metallics, and/or composite materials (desirable)
* Experience assessing defect criteria related to cracking, sub-surface defects, surface coating defects, and NDE detection methods
* Experience in manufacturing and test processes—machining, casting, fabrication, welding
* Experience in manufacturing composites for marine applications, including repair methodologies (desirable)
* Degree in engineering or a scientific discipline, or equivalent experience
* Computer-literate and tech-savvy
* Ideally working towards professional membership and chartered status
