Electronics Safety and Reliability Engineer (Full Time, Derby / Glasgow, Hybrid Working)
The EC&I Systems and Safety team develops the system design, safety case, and information assurance case for Reactor Control and Instrumentation, Power Systems, and Plant Sensors for the Dreadnought and SSN AUKUS classes of submarines.

Responsibilities:
* Support current and future safety campaigns, working with stakeholders to perform electrical control systems safety analysis and manage safety requirements.
* Develop modern standard safety cases.
* Conduct hazard identification and safety analysis.
* Justify equipment categorization and classification.
* Collaborate across functions to produce and present robust substantiation, including engineering changes.
* Perform failure modes and effects analysis, fault tree analysis, and functional failure analysis.
* Prepare technical reports and documentation adhering to engineering best practices.
Qualifications:
* Degree in Engineering, Maths, Physics, or equivalent experience.
* Proactive, determined, and delivery-focused.
* Ability to produce clear, concise, and accurate technical reports.
* Preferred: Experience with hazard identification techniques such as FMEAs, HAZOPs, Fault & Event Tree Analysis, and reliability evaluation methods.
