About the Role
The role will have specific responsibility for executing deployments for Elsevier’s Salesforce estate. This includes optimizing release processes and ensuring all functionality is delivered smoothly and efficiently to our stakeholders.
Responsibilities
1. Applying release activities across Salesforce development teams, ensuring easy and timely deployments across environments
2. Setting and managing consistent deployment routines, dependencies, identify issues and perform root-cause analysis to ensure they are not repeated
3. Communicating with developers to properly resolve merge conflicts, deployment errors and code coverage criteria
4. Contributing to define release readiness criteria and ensure all changes meet criteria prior to deployment
5. Applying monitor and maintain all Salesforce development environments, including creating and synchronizing sandbox metadata and appropriate data sets
6. Tracking release metrics to drive improvement and report successes/failures to stakeholders
Requirements
7. Experience in Salesforce Certified Administration
8. Be Able to manage and resolve complex and ambiguous technical issues
9. Demonstrate analytical skills and experience working with large-scale, complex datasets
10. Communicate well both a technical and business audience
