Financial Reporting Assistant - Fleet
Salary:
A truly varied role, which includes supporting the month-end close process, external reporting, tax reporting and a variety of project work.
This role will work closely with the finance management team to drive continuous improvement across the finance function and wider business.
A true advocate of robust internal control, the role will assist in the streamlining and improvement of the finance processes, including the implementation of automated solutions.

Key Responsibilities
1. Supporting the month-end close process
2. Journal entries and analysis, ensuring the accuracy of reporting
3. Ownership of areas of balance sheet reconciliation
4. Collating information for external audit, internal audit and to support corporation tax return preparation
5. Management of the statutory reporting process, ownership of first draft financial statements and disclosure notes.
6. Assistance with SPV accounting and financial statements reporting
7. Assist with the design, testing and documentation of key financial controls
8. Documentation of updates to the finance policies or procedures
9. Research upcoming IFRS changes and assist in the preparation of technical papers as required
10. Simplify and streamline processes, make control improvements
