What will your day look like:

It’s a busy and varied role, with a broad range of responsibilities, but the fundamentals include: ▪ Provide Administration Support to the HR Team across the full employee lifecycle ▪ First line support for all HR operations queries; answering phone calls and maintaining the SLA’s on the HR (people support) email inbox ▪ Support all candidates (new starters) with their onboarding process through Pinpoint and the Sterling portal ▪ Complete DBS checks for all colleagues as part of their onboarding process ▪ Responsible for the accurate filing and maintenance of employee data in adherence to data protection requirements ▪ Update the HR Systems with any changes including working hours, salary, Benefits etc and ensure documentation is prepared and sent out to colleagues and filed appropriately. ▪ Work with the Payroll Team to ensure that necessary entries on the HR System are completed by the relevant dates in order to facilitate the accurate running of payroll, ensuring all colleagues are paid accurately and on time.
Conduct regular audits of information held in the electronic employee files to ensure legal and identify where issues are found



Knowledge and Abilities:

Excellent IT skills including reporting and MI data collation ▪ Strong attention to detail ▪ Ability to travel to different offices ▪ Rapport building, organisation and multi-tasking skills are required for the role ▪ Ability to prioritise your own workload in a fast-paced environment ▪ Competent in current employment law Experience: ▪ A strong emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail is essential ▪ Experience of using a HR system ▪ The confidence to train and coach people managers ▪ Experience of onboarding new colleagues would be an advantage
