We are seeking a driven and commercially focused Meetings & Events Sales Manager to join the team at Billesley Manor Hotel and Spa. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced hospitality sales professional to lead our meetings and events revenue stream and deliver exceptional client experiences from enquiry to execution.
The Role
As Meetings & Events Sales Manager, you will be responsible for maximising revenue across conference, meeting, and event spaces, managing client relationships, and working closely with operational teams to ensure seamless delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Proactively sell meetings, conferences, and events to achieve and exceed revenue targets
• Manage all enquiries from initial contact through to contract and handover
• Develop strong relationships with corporate, agency, and local business clients
• Prepare proposals, contracts, and function sheets with accuracy and attention to detail
• Conduct site inspections and client show-arounds
• Work closely with Operations, Food & Beverage, and Front Office teams to ensure flawless event delivery
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies
• Maintain accurate records using the hotel's sales and events systems
About You
• Previous experience in meetings and events sales within a hotel environment
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication, organisation, and relationship-building abilities
• Results-driven with a proactive and professional approach
• Confident managing multiple enquiries and deadlines simultaneously
