As a Lecturer at EKC Group, you’ll do more than teach — you’ll guide, support, and inspire learners across a range of vital life and employability skills. You’ll be part of a dedicated team working to create opportunities for students who may be at risk of becoming NEET, as well as supporting ESOL learners to gain confidence and communication skills.
In this role, you’ll:
* Teach, train, and assess students in a variety of engaging learning environments.
* Deliver high-quality sessions that support development in English, Maths, IT, Employability, and Personal/Social skills.
* Work with learners at risk of becoming NEET and with ESOL students from Entry Level 2 up to Level 1.
* Provide tailored support to help every student achieve their full potential.
* Lead and shape study programmes, ensuring their design, delivery, and evaluation meet the needs of learners.
* Create a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning space where students feel motivated and supported.

In this role:
* You’ll be highly organised and creative, able to plan and deliver engaging, innovative lessons that spark interest and build confidence.
* You’ll use your strong interpersonal skills to connect with learners and create a supportive, inclusive classroom environment.
* You’ll be responsible for assessing and tracking student progress, using this insight to plan targeted support that helps every learner reach their potential.
* You’ll teach across a range of study programmes, from Entry Level up to Level 2, adapting your approach to suit different needs and learning styles.
* You’ll play a key role in motivating learners, helping them develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed.
* You’ll bring a positive outlook, empathy, and strong classroom management skills to foster a safe and inspiring learning environment.
Experience and Support:
* Teaching experience or workplace training delivery is an advantage – but not essential.
* If you’re new to teaching, don’t worry – full training and support will be provided to help you settle into the role and grow your teaching skills.

Please note that there are two salary scale points for our Lecturer positions. All candidates will start at the introductory salary scale point unless certain criteria are met.Employees can move up the salary scale once one full academic year of teaching for our group is complete, subject to approval.Therefore, internal applicants may qualify for the higher salary scale, although should seek clarification.
