GSL Education are currently seeking a Nursery Nurse to join a dynamic and supportive team at a nursery in Derby. This is a fantastic opportunity to help young children flourish in their early stages of development by providing high-quality care and education. Responsibilities as a Nursery Nurse: Support young children in their emotional, social, and educational development through play-based activities. Assist in planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Provide one-on-one and small group support to children, ensuring their individual needs are met. Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment for the children. Work closely with parents and carers to ensure the children's welfare, progress, and development. Assist in the implementation of personal care routines and activities, ensuring the well-being of each child. Requirements for Nursery Nurse: Previous experience working with young children, preferably in a nursery or early years setting. A nurturing, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting children's growth and development. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures. An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
