Summary
NNL is where your project management helps deliver our purpose. Your project management skills and attention to detail will enable industry-leading scientists, engineers and analysts to work together to deliver unique projects using cutting edge technology. It’s a challenging role but it’s an opportunity to grow, adapt and develop new skills in a fast-moving area.
To join the NNL apprenticeship scheme you should:
* Have a good academic background with at least 5 GCSEs 9-4 (A-C), including Maths & English.
* Be 16 or over by September 2025.
* Not be enrolled on another funded apprenticeship or similar program at the start.
* Ensure the apprenticeship is unrelated to any qualifications you already hold at the same or higher level.
Eligibility:
* Have the right to work in the UK.
* Have lived in the UK for at least 5 years.
* Be able to obtain SC security clearance.

Main Responsibilities
Following the Project Controls Technician, Level 3 standard, you will:
* Control, monitor, and analyze progress and performance data on engineering and infrastructure projects.
* Use specialized software to track progress, forecast trends, and assess deviations.
* Develop skills in estimating, planning, scheduling, and cost engineering.
* Work on complex projects in the Nuclear sector, ensuring safety and compliance.
Your program begins with a tailored induction, followed by ongoing support focusing on personal development. Successful candidates will undergo assessments in April 2025, with the start of the apprenticeship in September 2025.
