Job Overview
We are on a mission to raise the standard of education for young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and PMLD. This role involves planning and delivering flexible, trauma‑informed tutoring and mentoring to pupils and students from KS1‑KS5, as referred by local authorities and schools.
Key responsibilities include:
* Planning and reporting lessons, and providing regular feedback on student progress.
* Providing CPD support and mentoring through the TES CPD suite.
* Collaborating with the SEND Support Team to maintain a supportive environment for the child.
* Engaging in community and company events to share knowledge and resources.
* Participating in the referral programme and receiving rewards for successful tutor referrals.
Qualifications & Experience
* 2+ years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and PMLD.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).
* Enhanced DBS check (facilitated if needed) and at least 2 professional references.
* Familiarity with teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
* Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.

Location & Compensation
Dewsbury, West Yorkshire (UK); remote online work permitted for UK residents. Contract position with pay ranging from £28 to £35 per hour.
