The aim of our data strategy is simple; the more insight we have into our properties, the tenants that live in them, the surrounding communities and infrastructure that support them, and our organisational performance, the better we can ensure that those properties remain places that our tenants are proud to call home. To ensure that we have these insights, we’re reshaping our approach to data and seeking talented BI and Data professionals to join our newly formed Data Analytics team. As our Data Governance Analyst, you’ll work proactively to identify and investigate data quality issues, working closely with business stakeholders to resolve data quality issues and ensure that the data that we store on our tenants and properties is accurate, robust and fit for purpose. Key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to: Assisting in the development of the Data Governance framework focusing on data quality and metadata management. Identifying and investigating data issues, working with Data Stewards to conduct root cause analysis and provide timely and effective resolutions. Working closely with stakeholders to agree, document and maintain business metadata including but not limited to business definitions, data quality rules, sensitivity classifications and retention periods. Maintain the data quality issues logs and develop a data quality reporting framework including exception reports in Power BI. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate: Proven experience of analysing and profiling data, to find the root cause of issues and recommend solutions. A good working knowledge of database structures, including the ability to write basic SQL queries to extract data. Experienced in using reporting tools to develop user-friendly reports and dashboards. A good working knowledge of related regulations and standards including GDPR. We’re an organisation that values collaboration and getting around a table to solve problems. You can therefore expect to work 3 days per week from our Head Office and 2 days per week remotely.
