Overview
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a creative and forward‑thinking Occupational Therapist to join our service. You will be working within an innovative and well‑respected Therapy Services Team.
Responsibilities
* Lead the production of a high‑quality Occupational Therapy service for the patients on the two wards within the male Personality Disorder pathway.
* Supervise a team of Occupational Therapists and provide a comprehensive treatment programme based on individual needs analysis.
* Work alongside Occupational Therapy Assistant Practitioners and Occupational Therapy Support Workers and professionals from other disciplines to deliver a programme of psychologically informed treatment.
* Contribute to the evolving strategy and philosophy of the male personality disorder service.
* Develop, provide and regularly review specialist occupational therapy programmes for identified patient groups.
* Provide specialist individual and group occupational therapy interventions to an identified caseload within a specific care stream.
* Ensure clinical quality monitoring requirements are recorded for OT within a designated pathway.
* Responsible for the clinical and managerial supervision, appraisals and support provided to identified Therapy Services staff.
Qualifications and Experience
* HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
* Experience of mental health practice.
* Experience of working in a secure setting preferred but not essential.

DBS & Fees
Applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. The standard DBS application cost is £26.40 (or £54.40 for enhanced checks) and will be deducted from your salary over the first two months of employment. An annual fee of £16 applies for the DBS Update Service.
