A well‑established and growing insurance brokerage based in the City is seeking a Private Client Account Handler to join its specialist Private Clients team. The firm provides bespoke insurance solutions to Mid to High-Net-Worth individuals and is known for its strong client relationships, technical expertise and high standards of service.
Your new role
In this role, you will manage a portfolio of Mid to High-Net-Worth clients, handling risks up to £5,000 and delivering a consistently high level of client service. You will be responsible for managing renewals, mid‑term adjustments and new business enquiries, as well aspleting all associated policy administration across a range of personal lines products. Acting as a trusted point of contact, you will liaise closely with insurers and underwriters to negotiate terms and secure appropriate cover for your clients, while ensuring all advice and documentation aligns with regulatory andpliance requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will have previous experience within a Private client, High Net Worth or Personal Lines insurance position. You will demonstrate strong knowledge of personal insurance products, including home, motor, jewellery and fine art, along with hands‑on experience of managing renewals, MTAs and new business. You will be confidentmunicating with both clients and insurers, with a strong focus on relationship building and service delivery, and you will have a high level of attention to detail and a solid understanding of FCApliance. Experience using broker systems such as Acturis would be advantageous, and holding insurance qualifications or working towards them will be viewed positively.
