Position: Responsible for performing critical non-destructive testing of machined components, checking their integrity and conformity against the highest standards of quality. Your key responsibilites are: To apply Blue Etch Anodise and/or Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection to check conformity and integrity of components, identifying any defects or irregularities as part of the process. To set up and verify equipment needed before use. To apply testing criteria in accordance with customer or operational instructions ensuring adherence to safety regulations. Interpret and evaluate testing outcomes, accurately preparing reports of those outcomes in accordance with work instructions. Ensure all required documents are completed accurately in order to retain full traceability of the component. Ensure system is updated with correct details of testing undertaken and results obtained. Engage with other team members and contribute to improvements of working processes. Any other duties of a relative nature as may be required from time to time. Requirements: Qualifications EN4179/NAS410 PT level 2 qualification Experience Experience in NDT Level 2 role Precision engineering/ Aerospace Experience Knowledge And Skills Must be capable of reading and understanding standard work instructions and specifications Must be adept in use of computers Personal Qualities Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality. Reliable and very determined to achieve targets set. Strong communicator Ability to work as part of a cross-functional team A highly skilled individual that is reliable, dependable, and committed to the needs of the business.
