The Role: Events Coordinator
We are looking for an Events Coordinator to join our team on a permanent basis.
You dont need a long CV in hospitality to join us, well provide the training you need to master your craft. We simply ask for people who are reliable, observant, and genuinely enjoy looking after others.
You will be part of the Events and Reservations team which is the main point of contact for all booking enquiries and you and the team will be responsible for converting those enquiries into bookings as part of the sales process. From there, your role is to plan events and confirm bookings, communicating client requirements to both the internal and external team both verbally and in writing. You will communicate with guests over the phone, email and in person, leading site visits and planning meetings.
The successful applicant will be highly articulate, accurate and be extremely well presented. They will possess excellent communication skills at all levels and be adept at identifying customer needs and providing solutions to match these. Other key skills include being well organised, motivated, a good sales person with exceptional attention to detail and the desire to go the extra mile for our guests.
The shift patterns for this role includes but is not limited to 9-5.30pm, 10-6.30.pm, 11-7.30pm and includes some weekend working in which time off in lieu is provided.
Previous experience in organising events, a sales background or hospitality experience is preferred.
