The role will suit an experienced Senior Legal Counsel stepping up into a General Counsel opportunity. It is a fully office-based role in Heathrow Airport Area (5 days a week).

Duties & Responsibilities
* Provide accurate and timely legal counsel to executives on topics such as commercial agreements, dispute resolution, corporate finance, and commercial law.
* Oversee complex legal transactions from a project management perspective, ensuring input from all stakeholders.
* Lead risk management strategies within the company.
* Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
* Handle Company Secretarial duties.
* Draft and review agreements, contracts, and legal documents.
* Manage external counsel and consultants to ensure value for money.
* Clarify legal language and specifications for internal teams.
* Stay informed about legal developments and legislative changes.
Skills & Experience
* Qualified UK solicitor with at least 10 years PQE (considering other PQE levels and qualified lawyers from other common law jurisdictions eligible for QLT).
* Strong knowledge of corporate law, including corporate finance, dispute resolution, and contracts.
* Methodical with attention to detail.
* Commercially minded with a pragmatic legal approach.
* Experience working in reputable law firms or business environments.
* Proven track record as a legal counsel in fast-paced settings.
* High ethical standards and integrity.
* Good judgment and analytical skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Approximately 8 years of experience in a small to medium law firm before transitioning to business roles.
