Contract Platform Engineer - AWS/Kubernetes/GitHub Actions

We are currently seeking an experienced Contract Platform Engineer - AWS to join our dynamic team. As a Codurance Platform Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies and contribute to the success of our clients' projects.
This is an initial 6 months contract, inside IR35. Day rate: 550-650 day
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deploy AWS cloud solutions
* Manage and troubleshoot issues related to AWS infrastructure and services
* Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using modern DevOps tools and practices
* Provide expertise in designing, building, and maintaining highly scalable and reliable systems in AWS
* Implement security best practices to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data
* Monitor and optimise AWS infrastructure to ensure high performance and cost efficiency
* Create and maintain documentation for AWS architecture, processes, and procedures
Requirements
* Hands‑on experience with AWS platform engineering
* Proficiency in managing and configuring AWS infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking components
* Knowledge of Kubernetes - Helm, ArgoCD, Kargo
* Java (Gradle - building/deploying apps)
* Comfortable with GitHub Actions and GitOps
* Strong understanding of AWS Services
* Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or ARM templates
