Health Care Support Worker – Outpatients Department
We are looking for a full‑time Health Care Support Worker to work within various specialist clinics across the Outpatients Department.
Responsibilities include providing support to the multidisciplinary team in the provision of a high standard of direct patient care and carrying out tasks and running clinics assigned to the worker.
The successful candidate will need to be caring, organised and motivated, and must be able to communicate effectively within the multidisciplinary team and with a diverse local population. The role aims to continually improve the patient experience throughout the Outpatients Department.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:00. The worker will support Musculo‑skeletal, Medical and Surgical clinics, and may also run staggered clinics that sometimes overrun.

* Maintain professional and courteous working relationships with staff, patients and families, and respect the equality and diversity of every person they come into contact with.
* Uphold the privacy, dignity and confidentiality of the client group and respect equality and diversity of everyone at all times.
* Work collaboratively with others in the care setting to ensure patients' needs are met.
* Use social media as per Trust policy and procedures.
* Read and follow the Skills for Health Code of Conduct for Health Care Workers and always maintain the confidentiality of patient information.
