Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Location – Fareham
Contract – Part Time and Full time available

Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for your next rewarding role in a friendly and supportive school environment?
We’re seeking enthusiastic and confident HLTAs to work across a range of welcoming primary schools in the Fareham area, providing high-quality classroom support and teaching cover where needed.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility, and helping pupils make real progress in their learning.
What we’re looking for:
A qualified HLTA or experienced teaching assistant with a Level 4 (or equivalent) qualification.
Confident leading whole class learning when required.
Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and ability to support learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
A flexible, proactive approach with the ability to adapt to different classroom settings.
Passionate about supporting pupils’ learning, well-being, and development.
About the role:
Deliver planned lessons and provide high-quality learning support across various year groups.
Support teachers with planning, assessment, and classroom organisation.
Lead small group and 1:1 intervention to help pupils achieve their full potential.
Work closely with class teachers and school leadership teams to promote a positive and engaging learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
