At Hays Education, we are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-resourced primary school in Preston to recruit an enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a vibrant and inclusive primary school with a strong community ethos. The leadership team is committed to staff development and pupil progress, and the school has a reputation for nurturing both students and staff alike. Your new roleThis is a full-time teaching position covering a Year 4 class. The role is initially for one academic year, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons, maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement, and working collaboratively with a supportive KS2 team. What you'll need to succeed
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4
* A strong understanding of the national curriculum
* Excellent classroom management skills
* A commitment to creating a positive and stimulating learning environment
