Job Summary
James Grace Local are looking for a skilled and driven E-Commerce Manager to lead online sales operations while enhancing logistics and warehouse processes. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership abilities, in-depth knowledge of warehouse systems, and a thorough understanding of logistics and distribution practices. Responsibilities
1. Oversee day-to-day e-commerce activities, ensuring efficient order processing and fulfilment.
2. Manage goods handling, shipping, and receiving operations to ensure smooth inventory flow.
3. Identify and implement improvements to boost warehouse efficiency and accuracy.
4. Lead and support warehouse personnel, including training and enforcing safety standards.
5. Liaise with third-party logistics (3PL) partners to ensure prompt deliveries and returns handling.
6. Operate and maintain warehouse management systems
7. Supervise the safe use of forklifts and other mechanical equipment for stock handling.
8. Track logistics KPIs and recommend improvements to shipping and receiving processes.
9. Ensure all warehouse activities comply with health and safety regulations.
10. Keep precise records of stock levels, shipments, and internal documentation.
Skills & Experience
11. Demonstrated experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
12. Experience with Magento 2 (Adobe Commerce)
13. Experience with Amazon SellerCentral
14. Digital Marketing experience
15. Good communication skills
16. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop teams.
17. Background in working with 3PL providers and managing inbound/outbound logistics.
18. Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail in inventory and record-keeping
Hours:
19. Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm
20. Starting salary £28,000 per annum
