Kim needs people who are versatile, able to share a laugh, have fun, enjoy her interests, but also be direct and honest when needed, in a kind manner. Kim will have difficult days, so it is important that support workers can see past this and remain committed. You will need to be self-motivated and able to use initiative, think on your feet.
Patience and encouragement are key qualities. Most importantly, you must be committed to supporting Kim to develop, achieve, and grow, helping her have the best life possible.
Family is important to Kim; support and encouragement to maintain healthy relationships with them while promoting her independence are essential. Kim enjoys playing pool, making models, music, creative activities, and DIY projects like building furniture and fixing things. She will need positive encouragement and support for daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, and attending appointments.
