Location: Office-based, in Milton Keynes Contract: Full-time, Permanent Number of vacancies: 1 Salary: Up to £40,000 Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior Photographer & Visual Team Lead to oversee all product imagery and visual content for our Amazon storefronts. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Amazon’s image and content requirements, strong creative and technical photography skills, and the ability to lead a team to deliver high-quality visuals that drive engagement and sales. This role requires staying updated on Amazon trends, algorithm changes, and best practice guidelines to optimise product listings. Key Responsibilities: Amazon Product Photography & Visual Content Lead all photography for Amazon product listings, ensuring compliance with Amazon image guidelines (white backgrounds, image resolution, lifestyle shots, infographics, videos, etc.). Conceptualise and execute compelling lifestyle and product images that boost conversion rates. Oversee image editing, retouching, and optimisation for Amazon’s technical requirements. Create video content for product listings, including demonstration, 360° views, and promotional videos. Trend Analysis & Amazon Compliance Monitor Amazon visual content trends, competitors’ listings, and marketplace updates. Ensure all visuals meet Amazon policies and standards, including A content, Brand Registry, and SEO-optimised images. Recommend improvements to visual strategies based on performance analytics and consumer behaviour. Team Leadership & Collaboration Lead and mentor a team of graphic designers. Coordinate with marketing, listing, content, and design teams to ensure cohesive brand presentation. Conduct regular reviews and training on Amazon image standards and emerging trends. Project & Studio Management Plan shoot schedules and allocate resources efficiently. Manage studio operations, equipment, and vendor relationships. Maintain organised asset management systems for easy access and reuse of visuals. Quality Assurance Ensure all images are optimised for conversion, search ranking, and brand representation. Maintain consistent visual style, colour, and branding across all products and campaigns. Qualifications: 5–10 years of professional photography experience; prior e-commerce or Amazon experience highly preferred. Strong portfolio demonstrating product, lifestyle, and commercial photography, preferably for online marketplaces. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere), Capture One, or similar. Experience managing a creative team and cross-functional e-commerce projects. Understanding of Amazon listing optimisation, image compliance, and A content standards.
