Trainee Pharmacy Assistant - Ashton-under-lyne (Job Ref: 11749)
We are looking to recruit a 40‑hour Trainee Pharmacy Assistant on a permanent contract to work at our 499‑branch located at 2 Albion Street, Ashton‑Under‑Lyne, OL6 6HF.
Shift Pattern
- Monday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
- Tuesday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
- Wednesday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
- Thursday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
- Friday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense and label prescription items under the guidance and supervision of the Pharmacist.
- Assist with ordering and managing stock levels within the dispensary and the shop.
- Provide high‑standard customer service and maintain attention to detail at all times.
- Work efficiently under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous customer service experience.
- Willingness to undertake relevant training courses to progress.
- Strong people skills and the ability to work as part of a well‑established team.
