Pending or existing projects that the candidate would be involved in:
Ongoing day to day support and maintenance of IT systems and networking
Purpose of the Role
* Systems: Ensuring effective and consistent network and system maintenance, upgrades, migrations &
availability.
* Security: Responding to automated alerts and protecting user identities and devices from internal and
external threats.
* Compliance: Monitoring activities of IT areas to ensure compliance with defined policies and
frameworks
Main Responsibilities
* Provide support and guidance to end users.
* Maintain and optimize company systems, networks, and servers.
* Responsible for end user device management and security
* Ensure system availability.
* Manage installations, upgrades and configurations of hardware and software.
* Assess system performance and recommend improvements.
* Ensure all activities are completed in line with company policies and procedures.
* Ensure that all software is implemented in compliance to license requirements.
* Responsible for IT asset purchases and associated processes in line with Keelings Group policies.
* Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory frameworks and requirements including licensing.
* Contribute to the development of the overall technology strategy and processes
* Bi-Monthly travel to remote sites in France and Netherlands (UK Based)
Key Skills
Proven experience as Network engineer and/or System Administrator. Experience with HP/Aruba network is desirable.
* Excellent technical skills covering technologies and best practice in IT infrastructure, networking, security and IT operations.
* Demonstrable experience with system installation, configuration, analysis, and problem resolution
* Knowledge of data protection operations and legislation (e.g. GDPR)
* Organizational skills
* Experience in system delivery
* Outstanding communication skills
* Problem-solving aptitude
* Understanding appropriate application and management of on premise, public and private cloud and hyperconverged infrastructure.
* Ability to promote team working and collaboration, facilitating the measurement of performance by KPI's.
* Communicates effectively at all levels clearly, listens and involves others in direction and goal setting.
* Valid driving licence
