Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Business Development Manager based in South Harting, with the flexibility to work from home for part of the week.
The Business Development Manager will identify and develop new business opportunities, building a prospect list across a number of sectors, including the NHS, Education, Industry, and B2B. The role requires creative thinking and the effective use of all available communication channels, with a significant proportion of time spent on the phone engaging with prospects and navigating organisations to make key connections.
The successful candidate will arrange qualified meetings where clients demonstrate an interest in exploring CILS’ potential to deliver energy savings. Full product and process training will be provided, along with ongoing support to help ensure success.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK, hold a full driving licence, and have the ability to travel.
There is a reasonable basic salary, good commission scheme with OTE circa £100K
Qualifications
* Strong skills in business development and lead generation
* Proven ability in client relationship management and networking
* Articulate and persuasive, with a task-focused approach that leaves the client with clear options
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Self-starter and self-motivated, with strong organisational and time management abilities
* Previous experience in the energy efficiency, technology, or real estate industries is a bonus
* Educated to HND level or equivalent industry experience and knowledge
