About the Role
The Implementation Consultant is a revenue-generating position responsible for delivering high-quality software implementations aligned with client workflows, systems architecture, and enterprise processes. Success in this role directly influences project profitability, client satisfaction, and long-term partnership value.
This position requires the ability to analyze and resolve issues of varying complexity, capture detailed business and technical requirements, and translate them into effective system configurations. The consultant must exercise sound judgment, collaborate with senior team members when appropriate, and independently drive client transitions to Tyler software in accordance with established project timelines and methodology.
We are specifically seeking candidates with hands-on experience in business process analysis, solution design, and project management within government enterprise environments—particularly in utility billing, payments, and citizen request workflows. Experience with ERP Utility Billing systems is highly desirable.
Your Mission
As an Implementation Consultant, you will deliver high-quality knowledge transfer services for Tyler software solutions, enabling clients to operate efficiently and effectively in their daily operations. Knowledge transfer may be delivered onsite or virtually through structured webinars.
You will partner with clients to develop a comprehensive understanding of their workflows, business requirements, and technical environments. Your role is to ensure a seamless transition to Tyler software within agreed timelines while establishing a strong and positive foundation for the ongoing client relationship.
Tyler's solutions support community development, regulatory compliance, business management, fire prevention, and structural safety. You will play a key role in enabling municipalities and agencies to safely build, operate, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver professional consulting services, including business model analysis and documentation of functional requirements related to Tyler solutions.
Prepare clients for system readiness through structured education on functionality, system administration, security roles, and user permissions.
Design and deliver training materials and conduct knowledge transfer sessions both onsite and virtually.
Analyze and document client financial processes including bank reconciliations, procurement, invoicing, checks, EFT, BAI, Pcards, capital assets, general ledger, balances, and financial reporting.
Guide clients through data conversion validation, including proofing and reconciliation from legacy systems to Tyler applications.
Recommend process improvements and system configurations to optimize workflows, reporting, forms, and integrations.
Facilitate data mapping and requirement definition for system conversions.
Develop customized or enhanced reports to meet client-specific operational needs.
Troubleshoot implementation issues in collaboration with Support and Development teams.
Support QA testing efforts as required.
Develop both client-facing and internal documentation, including reference guides and best practice materials.
Participate in user conferences and facilitate module-based discussions.
Maintain accurate administrative documentation including client activity tracking, agendas, timesheets, travel reporting, and expense documentation.
Escalate risks or unplanned events that may impact project timelines, budget, or effectiveness.
Serve as liaison between clients and technical teams, translating complex technical concepts into business-understandable language.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Contract duration of more than 6 months. with 40 hours per week.
