Opportunity
In this role, you will deliver professional services for a range of varied and high‑profile clients. You will support team members to deliver an effective and professional service, gaining experience across feasibility studies, site investigation, preliminary and detailed design, and liaison with clients, contractors and third parties.
Responsibilities
From the outset you will be supporting the successful delivery of rail projects, building relationships within the team and across the wider Arup community. Typical day-to-day tasks include researching and analysing engineering problems to develop technical solutions that meet project and client requirements, utilising specialist software to create 3D models, supporting project management through financial and progress reporting, and participating in technical workshops and client meetings.
Qualifications
* Degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical), Railway Engineering, or Railway Systems Engineering
* Alternative degrees are welcomed in the interest of developing a diverse and talented team

You should be able to start this opportunity in September 2026.
