Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and have a hands-on approach to managing production processes. This role is crucial in ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Duties
* Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure efficient workflow.
* Monitor the performance of production staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
* Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery, ensuring they are maintained in good working order.
* Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a safe working environment for all employees.
* Collaborate with other departments to optimise production schedules and resolve any issues that may arise.
* Train new employees on proper use of hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques.
* Maintain accurate records of production output, quality control measures, and employee performance.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
* Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to the production process.
* Experience in assembly processes is highly desirable.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively lead a team.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £15.00-£17.00 per hour
