We manufacture components for Satellites, aeroplanes, submarines, crash test dummies, super yachts and sports cars, to name a few. The Role
Sellectronics ltd is seeking an Engineering Administrator.
You don't have to have lots of qualifications, but you do need to be a logical thinker who has an interest in engineering and is curious about how products work. We want a dynamic new employee who wants to learn and develop with the business.
As an Engineering Administrator, you will learn how to help the engineering department introduce new products to the production department and ensure customer requirements are met.
Your key aim will be to help the Engineering department to smoothly process jobs through the department by completing analytical and record-keeping tasks.

Responsibilities once trained
* Compilation of First Article Inspection Reports
* Bill of Materials checks
* Support the creation of work instructions
* Compilation of performance metrics for improvement activities
* Monitoring maintenance and calibration schedules
* Support with quality and regulatory documentation updates
* Support the purchasing department on occasion where necessary
* Support customer communication where appropriate
Essential
* Interest in how things are made.
* Practical, hands-on person who likes building things
* High level of attention to detail.
* Organised and able to work independently, but also to collaborate with the team(s).
* Good with IT, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Willingness to learn new skills
* Fit with the on-site culture and team.
Desirable
* Some form of interest in Electronics or Engineering, maybe a hobby, maybe a qualification. Not essential though.
