Overview
Ward Clerk role at NHS Tayside within the Mental Health / Learning Disability Service, based at the Carseview Learning Disability and Assessment Unit (LDAU) prior to relocation to the Rannoch Ward at Murray Royal Hospital. The service aims to provide high quality and effective support to service users with complex learning disability needs.
Responsibilities
* Provide clerical support as part of a multidisciplinary team in the Learning Disability Assessment Unit.
* Communicate effectively with staff, service users and members of the public.
* Utilise IT systems and packages to support daily operations.
* Assist with patient-related administrative tasks and contribute to a smooth ward workflow.
* Support induction standards and comply with the Code of Conduct throughout employment.

Requirements / Qualifications
* Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland (to be achieved).
* Compliance with the Code of Conduct throughout employment.
* Ability to communicate with a wide range of staff, service users and the public; ICT proficiency.
* Hours of work: 37 hours per week.
* Visa information: This post does not meet Home Office Guidelines for Sponsorship/ Skilled Worker Visa.
