A high–performing and supportive secondary school in Hounslow is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Physics Teacher to join its well–resourced Science department from September 2025. This is a full–time position, open to experienced teachers and ECTs, with the flexibility of a permanent appointment or a long–term agency contract.
The school is recognised for its strong academic results, inclusive ethos, and investment in STEM education. Science is a key focus area, and Physics is particularly popular at GCSE and A–Level.
Physics Teacher – Key Responsibilities
Teach Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 teaching available for suitable candidates)
Deliver engaging, practical, and theory–based lessons that foster a deep understanding of Physics
Promote scientific inquiry, analytical thinking, and real–world application of Physics concepts
Support individual student progress through effective assessment and feedback
Contribute to extracurricular STEM initiatives and science–related events

Person Specification:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
