Equans is looking for a Security Officer to join our team in Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, EH16 4SA on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is salary of up to 25,. per annum depending on skills and experience.
Shift Pattern: 12 hour shift per day (4 days, 4 off, 4 nights 4 off) rotations.
What will you deliver?
1. Operating all systems within the security control room.
2. First response to the building fire alarm system.
3. Answering telephone calls from staff for assistance, requests & information.
4. Monitoring and responding to alarms systems.
5. Liaising with emergency services during incidents.
6. Monitoring and reviewing CCTV systems.
7. Operate the access control systems.
8. Carry out security patrols of the building and grounds.
Current valid SIA Security Guarding or Door Supervisor Licence. (Essential)
Current valid SIA CCTV License. (Essential)

Who are we looking for?
Experience within a Healthcare environment is advantageous.
Role requires and advanced disclosure.
Current valid SIA Security Guarding or Door Supervisor Licence.
Current valid SIA CCTV License.
Physical ability to pass MAYBO level 4 course.
Emergency First Aid at Work
