We are recruiting System / Principal Engineers and Technical Directors for a growing Engineering Safety Consultancy with expertise in Maritime, Naval, Nuclear, and Submarine sectors.
System Engineers – Mid-Level to Senior
Responsible for delivering complex, hazardous projects in highly regulated fields such as nuclear, maritime, aviation, or ordnance. Capable of leading small teams and working with minimal supervision, applying strategic thinking and maintaining quality assurance.
The Job Duties include:
* Empowering teams of engineers to deliver technical aspects of projects
* Collaborative working with minimal supervision
* Undertaking activities as directed by Technical Directors and Principal Engineers
* Conducting complex technical investigations
* Articulating project outcomes to stakeholders
* Providing technical guidance
* Maintaining customer relations and quality assurance
Principal Engineer
Responsible for leadership and delivery across complex projects, managing talented teams, and providing strategic insight. Requires a strong technical background and the ability to transfer skills to new technologies.
The Job Duties include:
* Directing, supervising, motivating staff
* Managing complex technical projects
* Providing guidance and development opportunities for engineers
* Utilising evidence to inform and influence projects
* Communicating proposals and outcomes
* Identifying market opportunities and managing risks
Qualifications include a BEng degree with postgraduate knowledge, recognition as a Technical Expert, Chartered Engineer status, and membership in a UK Professional Engineering Institution.
Technical Director – Nuclear/Maritime/Aviation
Leads talented teams, with experience in senior management and strategic planning. Demonstrates strategic thinking, communication skills, and leadership in complex projects.
The Job Duties include:
* Planning and organizing staff activities
* Providing leadership for business continuity
* Managing and developing staff
* Influencing strategic policies
* Liaising with the Board of Directors
Qualifications include a BEng degree, postgraduate knowledge, Chartered Engineer status, and 15+ years' experience in a regulated engineering discipline.
