Product Designer – UX/UI
Location: 1-2 days per month in Cardiff office (expenses paid) otherwise remote
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 + bonus + benefits
Seeking an experienced Product Designer to work for a leading heritage sports brand.
This is an exiting time of digital growth and transformation for the business. Working closely with the CPO and Product Lead, as well as an external design agency, you will have the opportunity to work on a complete re-design of a global B2C app and website.
This is an exciting opportunity from a design perspective, as you will be able to shape a fast growing sports app. The app will provide users with stats, as well as elements of gamification (tokens/streaks/rewards), so you will get to have fun with the design.
This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, a product manager, software engineers, those developing the hardware and go-to-market functions, to ensure our products meet customer needs, market demands, and company goals.
Experience and knowledge
* You have worked on both consumer web and mobile app products, ideally with elements of gamification/rewards/tokens etc.
* Proficiency in all facets of design, including user personas, user journeys, interaction flows, visual and information hierarchy, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity UX specs, micro-interactions, and responsive design for both web and mobile
* You possess a strong instinct around customer needs and use those instincts to help inform decisions. You build on those instincts with user research, ensuring that user feedback is actionable and utilizing data and feedback to validate or adjust designs
* You are an excellent communicator and storyteller, communicating concepts and ideas to stakeholders at all levels
